1,Controlled Power Sequencing: Its primary function is to
automatically power on and power off multiple pieces of audio,
video, and lighting equipment in a specific, predetermined order
with timed delays between each step.
2,Protection: Prevents damaging voltage spikes ("power-on thumps")
and inrush currents from simultaneously powering on sensitive
equipment (especially power amplifiers) from damaging speakers or
other downstream components. Also prevents feedback loops during
startup/shutdown.

to be safely powered up or shut down with the press of a single
button (or via remote trigger), eliminating the need for an
operator to manually switch each device on/off in the correct

and signal processors are fully powered and stable before
amplifiers receive power, and that amplifiers are powered down
